Club captain Stuart Hooper has signed a new deal with Premiership play-off contenders Bath that will extend his stay into next season.
The 33-year-old forward joined Bath in 2008 and has made more than 170 first team appearances for the club
"Stuart represents everything that is good about Bath Rugby," said head coach Mike Ford.
"I have said before that he is the best captain I've ever worked with.
You couldn't ask for a better leader out there on the field, and I am looking forward to working with him again next season.

Hooper, who began his career with Saracens in 1999 before moving onto Leeds Carnegie four years later, said: "I’m more eager than ever to carry on the good work that we’ve started at the club.
“We’re getting better year on year and I’ve no doubt we’re closer than ever to achieving something great here at Bath Rugby.”
