Championship club London Scottish have been docked three points for fielding an unregistered player.

Scottish fielded Alexander Mackenzie in their league fixture with Plymouth Albion on Friday 9 November.

The player was on loan to Rosslyn Park and therefore not eligible for London Scottish.

The club have confirmed they will appeal the deduction at a hearing to take place next week.
