Prop follows brother in playing for Leeds

Ben Hooper is aiming to follow in his brother's footsteps after agreeing a 12-month contract with Leeds Carnegie. Hooper's brother Stuart helped Leeds to the Powergen Cup title in 2005 and was skipper when they were promoted in 2007. Now front-rower Ben will pull on the colours of Leeds after making the switch from Rotherham. Head coach Diccon Edwards told the club's official site: "Ben has impressed us this season in all our meetings with Rotherham and he will be a good addition to our front row options with Mo Mustafa and Sam Lockwood all battling for the starting prop positions. "He is someone who is passionate about Leeds Carnegie having been a fan of the club since his days supporting his brother and I know he is looking forward to becoming a Leeds player."
