Bedford Blues have agreed new deals with five more members of their RFU Championship title-chasing squad. Director of rugby Mike Rayer has handed new contracts to Ollie Dodge, Neil Cochrane, Chris Locke, Don Barrell and Henry Staff ahead of the club's play-off semi-final against London Welsh. Dodge, who can play on the wing or in the centres, has impressed since arriving from Leicester in 2008 - and he has signed a two-year extension. Cochrane has been rewarded for his switch from the flanks to hooker with a 12-month deal, while former Northampton academy graduate Locke will continue to push for the No.2 jersey next season. Former Saracens duo Barrell and Staff, who both made the switch to Goldington Road at the start of the season, have also signed year-long contracts.
