Bayonne have agreed a new two-year deal with South African fly-half Jacques-Louis Potgieter.
The 27-year-old, who previously played for the Cheetahs, Bulls and Sharks, initially arrived at Bayonne on a short-term deal in January.
However Potgieter impressed as he helped the Basque club avoid relegation from the Top 14.
Potgieter scored 74 points in his eight starts - with his 21-point haul in the crucial 24-19 win over Biarritz earning him cult status.
