George North has praised the British and Irish Lions medical team after he was named in the starting XV for the first Test against Australia.
The Wales winger had crossed for two tries and looked in superb form during the tour before a hamstring injury put his involvement in the Test series in doubt.
However despite missing the past two games, North has battled his way back to full fitness and the 21-year can't wait for Saturday's encounter at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

"It was all touch and go really but from minute one the support staff have been great," North told Sky Sports.
"I have put in a lot of hours and lot of rehab to get back here. It is awesome to be named in the Lions squad."
North, who has scored 12 tries in 31 appearances for Wales, insists that it is a "dream" to earn his chance in a Test match for the Lions.
"Being named puts a smile on your face," he said. "It is a dream come true.
"You start off as a young boy in your head playing for the Lions with the boys on the park but when it comes to it, it is a lot of hard work to get here.
"It has been an exceptionally long season for the boys so to finish off with a three-Test series is epic."
