Harlequins have signed Italy scrum-half Tito Tebaldi from Ospreys for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old has played 20 times for the Azzurri, having made his international debut in 2009.
Tebaldi joined the Welsh region from Zebre ahead of the 2013/14 season and featured 19 times, but only once this season.
The Italian will replace Sam Stuart, who has left the club for personal reasons, in the Quins squad.
Harlequins director of rugby, Conor O’Shea said: “In the circumstances we are delighted to welcome a player of Tito’s experience, who is looking forward to a fresh start.
"We hope we can provide the right impetus for him to re-launch his career through Harlequins.”
Tebaldi said: “I’m really excited to be joining Harlequins. I can’t wait to play for the club and I am grateful to have been given this opportunity.
“I’m looking forward to moving to London and continuing my career there.”
