Wasps have added New Zealand World Cup-winning scrum-half Piri Weepu to their European Rugby Champions Cup squad ahead of next month's quarter-finals.

The former All Black, 31, only joined Wasps from London Welsh in February as cover until the end of the season and will play for Oyonnax in France's Top 14 next season.

Wasps face a daunting trip to defending two-time European champions Toulon on Sunday, April 5, in a bid to reach the semi-final and could require all of the 71 Test cap - including the 2011 World Cup - veteran's experience to emerge victorious from the south of France.

Leinster have activated Ireland duo Cian Healy and flanker Sean O'Brien, ahead of their clash with Bath a day earlier at the Recreation Ground.

The Irish pair, fresh from claiming the Six Nations title with their country, are fully fit after overcoming early season injuries.

Teams are allowed to add three additional players to their original 38-man squads following the end of the group stages in January.

Big-spenders Toulon have brought in former France international half-back Frederic Michalak, 32, to their squad for the visit of Wasps.

Michalak, 32, has been recovering from a shoulder injury since September after tearing tendons in his shoulder and dislocating his biceps during a Top 14 league match against Stade Francais.

The champions have also added South African hooker Craig Burden, who has been out since November due to a torn pectoral muscle, and versatile Argentine back Juan Martin Hernandez, who only joined Toulon in January to replace Australian James O'Connor when he returned home.

Clermont Auvergne host Northampton in the second quarter-final on April 4 while Saracens travel to Racing Metro the following lunchtime in the other last-eight tie.
