England and Sale Sharks master marksman Mark Cueto has warned his club colleagues to keep their focus ahead of the tough Christmas schedule.
The Sharks are conquering all-comers right now, as they sit top of both the Guinness Premiership and Heineken Cup Pool One, having won all four of their European games to date.
Cueto, who is just one try behind the league's top try-scorer Tom Varndell (6), is fully aware of how quickly things can change, and he is demanding that his teammates concentrate on rugby - not turkey - over the festive period.
"We've got off to a great start both in the Premiership, where we're top of the table at the moment, and in Europe as well. We couldn't ask for a better start in that competition but there are a lot of important games over the Christmas period," Cueto told Sky Sports News.
"It's going to be a massive challenge; we've got Northampton at home on Boxing Day so it's going to be tough."
Sale are currently two points ahead of Wasps in the Premiership, and they face tricky clashes against Northampton and Bath over the holiday schedule.
