Autumn internationals: France make changes for Argentina Test as Maxime Mermoz starts

France have made four changes to the side that beat Australia for Saturday’s Test against Argentina in Paris.

Les Bleus boss Philippe Saint-Andre decided to switch his forwards despite his team’s 29-26 win last weekend.

Xavier Chiocci at prop, Benjamin Kayser at hooker and lock Sebastien Vahaamahina all start after making cameo appearances against the Wallabies.

The only other change to the starting line-up is the return of centre Maxime Mermoz, who last played in March in the 22-20 defeat to Ireland in the Six Nations.

Sebastien Tillous-Borde and Camille Lopez remain the half-back pairing for the third time in a row after months of tinkering as they seek a November hat-trick of wins against Argentina.

Tillous-Borde and fly-half Lopez are Saint-Andre's 13th half-back pairing to start for France since he took over from Marc Lievremont.

Argentina have lost to Scotland and beaten Italy in this autumn series and will be hoping to record their fifth win in nine outings against their upcoming opponents.
