Munster winger Simon Zebo has been added to Ireland's squad for Saturday's Six Nations clash with Italy in Dublin.
Zebo, who has scored four tries in three games since returning to full fitness, replaces Felix Jones in the 33-man squad after his Munster team-mate was sidelined with a knee injury.
Tommy Bowe has been omitted despite scoring two tries for Ulster against the Dragons on Friday, with the British and Irish Lions winger having his return to action carefully managed.
Ireland boss Joe Schmidt has also opted to rest Isaac Boss and Tommy O'Donnell for the visit of the winless Azzurri, while Luke Marshall has been ruled out due to concussion.
However Leinster hooker Richardt Strauss returns to challenge Rory Best and Sean Cronin for the No 2 jersey, while uncapped South Africa-born back-row Robbie Diack is pushing for a place in the match-day squad.
