Fractured eye socket: Michael Swift
Connacht will be without veteran Michael Swift for at least four weeks after the second-row fractured his eye socket on Sunday.
Swift, the province's most capped player, sustained the injury during the famous 16-14 Heineken Cup victory over Toulouse in France.
There are no other fresh injury concerns for Connacht as they prepare to welcome the Top 14 giants to Galway for the return leg on Saturday, with Aly Muldowney also returning to the fray.
"He had a scan done and he has a fracture of his cheekbone and he's gone for at least four weeks. It's a big loss."
Coach Pat Lam said: "He had a scan done and he has a fracture of his cheekbone and he's gone for at least four weeks. It's a big loss."
Lam has warned his side to expect a backlash from a wounded Toulouse side, with Maxime Medard, Gael Fickou, Yannick Nyanga and Joe Tekori all expected to return.
"We'll face a hurting Toulouse team. They're going to be written off and told how bad they are. They'll come to us fired up," he added.
