Ben Foden: England regular and Saints stalwart
England internationals Ben Foden and Lee Dickson are among five players to have signed new contracts with Northampton.
Centre Luther Burrell, who was recently called up to England's Elite Player Squad, Samoa back Ken Pisi and former England U20 winger Jamie Elliott have also committed their futures to the Saints.
Foden, currently sidelined by a knee injury, has scored 35 tries in 132 appearances for Northampton and played a huge role in their Amlin Challenge Cup victory in 2011.
The versatile back has won 34 caps for England, while Dickson made his international debut last year and started three of the recent autumn internationals at scrum-half.
The 28-year-old joined the Saints from Newcastle in 2008 and made his 150th first-team appearance for the club earlier this season.
Burrell has been tipped for an England debut during the Six Nations after training with the Elite Player Squad following the summer tour of Argentina.
Pisi has made a huge impact since arriving at Franklin's Gardens prior to last season, leading the club in metres made, defenders beaten and carries in the 2012/13 campaign.
Saints academy product Elliott was Northampton's leading try scorer last season with 11, and hit made his 50th senior appearance earlier this month despite being only 21 years of age.
Director of rugby Jim Mallinder said: "We're delighted that all five players have signed new contracts with us.
"They have all come a long way in their time with us and are recognised as being some of the best players in their positions in the country, and retaining all of them was one of our main priorities.
"It is important that we have a group of quality players who understand our culture and what we are trying to achieve, and Ben, Lee, Luther, Ken and Jamie all fit into that category."
