Scotland forward's RBS Six Nations campaign could be over

Scotland flanker Alasdair Strokosch could miss the rest of the RBS Six Nations after the Scottish Rugby Union revealed he has suffered a fractured hand. The Gloucester forward picked up the injury in his country's 27-13 loss to Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday. Strokosch is set to be sidelined for at least month, meaning it is unlikely he will return before Scotland's final Six Nations clash with Italy on March 17. "Recovery from such an injury takes typically between four to six weeks," Scotland team doctor James Robson said in a statement issued by the SRU. Scotland are still waiting for news over wing Max Evans, who was forced off with an ankle injury against Wales and left Cardiff on crutches and wearing an immobilising boot. Robson added: "Max will be seen by the specialist ankle surgeon John McKinley at Spire Murrayfield Hospital today and we will await a further update later this week."
