Ovens, Woodburn and Keyte join Championship side

Bath have agreed to send young trio Josh Ovens, Ollie Woodburn and Matt Keyte to Bristol on temporary deals. Flanker Overs has joined the Championship side on a season-long loan while centre Woodburn and scrum-half Keyte will be dual-registered. Ovens made 13 appearances for the senior Bath side last season and has represented England at U18s and U20s level. "I'm really excited to be coming to Bristol and improving my game at a Club that plays an exciting brand of rugby and wants to win and improve," the 21-year-old said. "I am looking forward to the opportunity to gain more game time, and to continue my career development." Like Ovens, Woodburn and Keyte are products of the Bath academy, with latter having also represented England at U16 and U18 level. Bristol head coach Liam Middleton said: "Josh brings with him Premiership experience and an ambition to make himself a starting player at Bristol next season. "All three guys fit the mould of the player we are looking for in those positions, and are all keen to get more game time. The fierce competition should bring the best out of all the players that we have."
