Powerhouse centre agrees two-year deal

Sale have confirmed they have agreed a deal with New Zealand centre Sam Tuitupou. The 29-year-old will make the move from Munster, having previously played in the Premiership with Worcester. Tuitupou has been capped by nine times by the All Blacks, while he played for Auckland and the Blues before moving to England. And Sale executive director Steve Diamond is looking forward to see the powerhouse centre play for the Sharks. "Sam is a fantastic signing for Sale Sharks," said Diamond. "He has a great work-rate, is very strong in the contact area and will boost our back line in both attack and defence. "The experience that he has gained from playing in some great teams throughout his career will benefit our squad tremendously next season."
