Back row to replace Ulster-bound McComish

Connacht have moved to replace Mike McComish with the signing of back-row TJ Anderson. McComish will leave Galway at the end of the season to head Ulster, with the 24-year-old Anderson heading in the opposite direction. Anderson, who has made 18 appearances for Ulster and played for Ireland Under-20s, has agreed a two-year deal. Connacht have also been buoyed by the news prop Brett Wilkinson has signed a new two-year deal. Wilkinson has made more that 100 appearances for the province since making his debut - with his sights now set on forcing his way into the Ireland side. "Connacht has been my home for the last five years and it's great to be able to commit for another two years," said Wilkinson. "I'm delighted to have played for Ireland Wolfhounds and I would love to make the next step and represent Ireland at senior level but at the moment I am concentrating on being the best rugby player I can be and helping Connacht make their mark in the Magners League."
