Hooker agrees to move to Taranaki

Hooker Mahonri Schwalger has become the latest player to leave the club after agreeing to join Taranaki. The 31-year-old only joined the Sharks from the Scarlets last season, however he only made four Premiership starts - with eight further appearances coming off the bench. Former Hurricane Schwalger now replaces Laurence Corlett, who has suffered a broken arm, at Taranaki. Sharks chief executive Mick Hogan said: "I would like to thank Mahonri for the time he spent with us and wish him all the best with his new club."
