Sale, Ospreys and Stade interested in England international

Wasps face a fight to keep hold of England international James Haskell with a host of clubs interested in signing the flanker. Haskell is one of a number of players at the defending Guinness Premiership champions who is out of contract at the end of the season. Wasps have tabled a 'take it or leave it' offer to the 23-year-old - however they now face serious competition from Sale, Ospreys and Stade Francais for his services next season. Reports from Wales have claimed that Haskell has already been approached by Magners League title-chasers Ospreys, although the Welsh region does currently have a wealth of talent in the back-row. Stade Francais themselves have been linked to a £300,000-a-year move for Haskell, with the French outfit free to pay what they like for the player as the Top 14 does not operate a salary cap policy. Danny Cipriani has also been linked to a move to either France or Saracens, while Dave Walder is believed to be a target for Cardiff Blues.
