Saracens wing warns of focusing solely on Williams

In-form Saracens winger Richard Haughton insists his side will not focus solely on Ospreys dangerman Shane Williams in Sunday's Heineken Cup clash. Haughton is likely to be on the opposite flank to Williams, who became the leading try-scorer for Wales during the RBS Six Nations Grand Slam success, with Fijian Kameli Ratuvou the man asked to silence the threat. However Haughton believes the Ospreys have so much quality in their side that to concentrate on Williams will just open up the space for the likes of James Hook, Gavin Henson, or Lee Byrne to exploit. "I think if you pay special attention to Shane then it will open up a lot of space for the other Welsh players in their team," he told Planet Rugby.

Battle

"The Ospreys have got pretty much an international team, so we have to keep an eye on the opposition as a whole. "But I think the battle between Kameli and Shane should be an interesting one. "However, with Shane's great try-scoring track record this year with both Wales and the Ospreys, we do have to look out for him." Saracens have already come unstuck against the Ospreys once this season, with 30-3 EDF Energy loss in Cardiff. However Sarries bounced back with the rout of Leeds in the Premiership and Haughton believes the team have learned their lesson from the defeat at the Millennium Stadium. "The Leeds win was massive," the 27-year-old added. "We needed to get a success under our belts particularly after losing to the Ospreys in the way we did to get a bit of confidence back in the squad. "And hopefully the performance sets us up for a better rematch this Sunday. "I think we've all learned a few lessons since the loss at the Millennium Stadium and hopefully we can right those as well."
