Broken hand rules out Toulouse centre

France's preparations for the Six Nations Championships have been hit by news Yannick Jauzion is set to miss the opening two matches. The talented centre suffered a broken hand during Toulouse's Heineken Cup clash with Leicester in mid-December - and despite intensive rehabilitation, he will now sit out the clash against Scotland. Jauzion is planning to make his return to action against either Auch on January 25 or a week later against Montpellier. That means the match with Scotland on February 3 at Murrayfield will come too soon for Jauzion, who then faces a race against time to prove his fitness for the visit of France six days later. And Jauzion admits a return against England at the Stade de France on February 23 seems more probable. "I imagine I will be in contention for the third match, because they are going to keep the same 22 for the first two games in the opening week," said Jauzion.
