Cairns, Evans and Low earn call-ups to tour Argentina

Scotland coach Frank Hadden has included uncapped trio Ben Cairns, Thom Evans and Moray Low in his 30-man squad to tour Argentina in the summer. Hadden has revealed 25 of the players he will take away to face the Pumas, with two backs and three forwards still to be unveiled. Cairns, Evans and Low, though, are assured of their places with the trio rewarded for their fine club form this season - as well as their displays for Scotland A against Italy and Ireland. Dougie Hall is also recalled to the squad to team up with his Glasgow colleagues Low and Evans. Hadden said: "I'm delighted that the bulk of this squad will be home-based players, which is a reflection on the recent form of both of our professional teams and the quality of the development work which has gone on in our country over a number of years." Hadden will announce the final five members of after the final Magners League games, while waiting for news on the recovery from injury of some players. And Hadden knows that he needs his side firing on all cylinders to topple the side that knocked them out of the World Cup in the quarter-final. He said: "We are fully aware of the size of the challenge but it's one we're looking forward to. "Argentina have made enormous progress over the last 10 years and thoroughly deserved to be ranked third best side in the world. "We ran them close in the quarter-final of the World Cup and we're fully committed to reversing that result in June."
