Wasps have been boosted by the news that six players have signed contract extensions.

Club captain Chris Bell, along with centre Andrea Masi and his fellow Italy international Carlo Festuccia, have agreed new deals.

Former Sale second row Kearnan Myall, prop Jake Cooper-Woolley and scrum-half Charlie Davies will also remain at Adams Park.

"We are delighted that these six players have all signed new contracts with us," Wasps rugby director David Young told the club's official website.

"There is a range of experience within that group, and that is a reflection of what we are trying to build in our squad as a whole.

"We have some hugely-experienced guys in our team now who will help to influence the club's direction, as well as some talented younger players who we hope will provide the backbone for Wasps in the long term."

Wasps are in Amlin Challenge Cup action next, with Italian side Viadana coming to Buckinghamshire on Sunday 19 January.
