The Barbarians have confirmed exciting prospect Elliot Daly and Saracens hooker Schalk Brits have been added to their squad to face England and the British and Irish Lions.

Daly missed out on a place in the England squad to tour Argentina, however he will now get a chance to show them what they are missing.

The BaaBaas will face England at Twickenham on 26 May before flying to Hong Kong for the historic encounter against the British and Irish Lions on Saturday 1 June.

Daly, who can play at full-back or in the centres, has been in sensational form for Wasps this season, scoring seven tries in 30 appearances, while Brits was the RPA player of the year in 2010.

Coach Dai Young has also added Exeter's Australian lock Dean Mumm, Montpellier winger Timoci Nagusa and veteran prop Andrea lo Cicero, while versatile Northampton forward Samu Manoa has been cleared to team up with the squad after the Aviva Premiership final.

Tour manager Derek Quinnell said: "We are very pleased with the final composition and strength of the squad.

"Obviously because of play-off finals in Ireland and England on 25 May a handful of players will not be available for the first match against England but we have covered that by inviting 28 players.

"We also believe there is a healthy balance between proven Test experience and promising young talent who will benefit enormously from the experience."
