Edinburgh have signed Tonga international hooker Aleki Lutui from Worcester on a two-year deal.

However James King, Sep Visser, Mike Penn and Andy Titterrell will all leave the club.

Lutui, a huge favourite at Sixways, played 186 games for Worcester - only three men have played more games for the club.

He was named Warrior-of-the-Year by his team-mates after the 2010-11 Championship-winning campaign, and played for Tonga in the 2007 and 2011 World Cups.

His final game at Sixways came against Harlequins on Saturday when he replaced Ed Shervington at half-time.

Warriors Rugby Operations Director Corin Palmer said: "We thank Aleki for his efforts and dedication during his time at Worcester Warriors.

"The fact that he has played so many games for this club illustrates just how influential he has been over the years and his professionalism is a credit to rugby.

"Aleki will always be regarded as a club legend here and we wish him every success at Edinburgh."

King, who made 31 appearances for the club, will retire from the professional game, while Visser, Penn and Titterrell haven't been offered new deals.

Penn failed to make a senior appearance after joining from Worcester, Visser, the brother of Scotland international, scored one try in eight games and Titterrell arrived at the start of the season as injury cover for then injured hooker Steven Lawrie.

Edinburgh interim head coach Stevie Scott added: "It's always a shame to say farewell to players but it's in the nature of professional sport that we see people move on at this time of year.

"On behalf of Edinburgh, I'd like to thank them for their contribution to the club.

"Our last game of the season is at home against the Dragons so the fans will have their chance to thank the players and give them a send-off before we look to the future and begin pre-season preparations."
