Reds forward Gill poised to make his Test debut at Eden Park

Australia coach Robbie Deans has named Kurtley Beale amongst the replacements for Saturday's clash with New Zealand at Eden Park. The full-back was dropped from the starting XV after a disappointing performance in the 27-19 loss to the world champions last weekend. However Beale, the reigning John Eales Medal holder, has been spared missing out on the match altogether, as he has been selected as a sub for the clash at Eden Park. Meanwhile, Queensland Reds forward Liam Gill is poised to make his Test debut after also earning a berth among the reserves. He is joined by fellow forwards Saia Fainga'a, James Slipper and Radike Samo, while Nick Phipps and Anthony Fainga'a are also in the squad. Waratahs hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau missed out on selection due to injury. The Wallabies need to record their first win at the venue since 1986 if they are to deny the All Blacks from claiming the Bledisloe Cup for the 10th straight year.
