Saracens have agreed a new deal with US international winger Chris Wyles.

The 27-year-old has made 68 appearances for the club since making his debut in 2008 - having initially joined the club on secondment from the US Eagles.

However Wyles has quickly established himself as one of the club's key performers and he had little hesitation in signing a new contract.

Wyles, who previously had stints in England with Northampton, said: "I have never been happier in my career. There is a special plan at this club, and I am very pleased to be part of that plan."

Future

Wyles is the first of 10 signings planned by Saracens on Tuesday, with the Premiership finalist also having confirmed seven players will leave at the end of the season.

Don Barrell is stepping back from the professional game to work with the academy, Tom Ryder will make a permanent switch to Glasgow after spending a large part of the season on loan at the Warriors and Noah Cato will join Northampton.

Kevin Barrett has agreed a deal to return to Exeter, Matt Parr is heading back to Nottingham, Ethienne Reynecke will move to Connacht and Alex Brown will join Doncaster.

Chairman Nigel Wray said: "We have established a very close group, and we wish each of these players well in the future.

"We thank them for everything they have done for Saracens on and off the field, and look forward to welcoming them back to future matches and events."
