Wasps have suffered a double blow with the news that vice-captains Dom Waldouck and Rob Webber have been sidelined.

Centre Waldouck had been part of the England squad for the Investec Internationals but he has been diagnosed with a posterolateral disc bulge which has resulted in weakness in his arm.

Hooker Webber is facing three months out after he ruptured his bicep tendon against Bath and could now undergo surgery.

Riki Flutey is also being constantly reviewed as he looks to return from the calf strain that has kept him out of action.

However there is more promising news for Wasps as Mark Atkinson and Charlie Beech are on the verge of a return, while John Hart should return in the new year after making good progress following shoulder surgery in August.
