Leeds United suffered another blow to their League One title campaign having fallen to a 3-0 defeat at Swindon. United were largely outplayed at the County Ground by Danny Wilson's side whose superb display has dramatically enhanced their play-off prospects. Their superiority on home soil showed from the offset as Charlie Austin found his way deep inside the penalty area before powering home into the top left hand corner of the net inside the first 15-minutes of the game. Things went from bad to worse then for Leeds and goalkeeper Casper Ankergren as the Danish stopper failed to deal with a close range Billy Paynter header mid-way through the second half. Ankergren's misery continued as he was booked for a foul on Austin, conceding a penalty just minutes after the Robins' second goal. Paynter stepped up to notch a brace just after the hour mark, sealing all three points for the Robins whose winning streak extends to four league games. Leeds had their chances late in the game as both Jermaine Beckford and Robert Snodgrass scuppered decent chances to notch what would only have been minor conciliation for Simon Grayson's side. Defeat leaves Leeds three points adrift of Norwich in top spot, albeit that the Whites are still two games in hand.
