Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew hailed his side's impressive display as they produced a stirring comeback to beat Burnley 3-2 at Turf Moor thanks to Dwight Gayle's late winner.
Efforts from Ben Mee and Danny Ings put Burnley 2-0 up after 16 minutes, but Palace drew level through goals from Gayle and Jason Puncheon before the former netted again three minutes before the end.
Victory sent Palace four points clear of the relegation zone and left Burnley one place above the bottom three.
"What a performance from us," Pardew told Sky Sports. "Unbelievable to come back in any Premier League game. I don't care who the opposition are – 2-0 down away from home – amazing game.
"I thought we deserved it. We showed a little bit of quality here and there and the offensive players changed the game and we were worth the victory.
We showed a lot of qualities today which we're going to need if we're going to stay in the division.
"We had a tricky spell in the second half and first 15 minutes when we lost our way a bit, but other than that we looked pretty good.
"Puncheon was the best player on show by a country mile. He was the one who put his foot on the ball, got a great goal and made the third.
Pardew, who has won his first two Premier League games in charge of Palace, now hopes the Eagles can maintain their momentum, with a clash at St Mary's against Southampton in the FA Cup to come before a home game against Everton.
"It's a great week for us and gives us great momentum again," he said.
"I just think for these players, they needed a bit of a lift, but I know a lot of these players, having worked with them before, so I know how they click.
"I'm quietly pleased that the application of what we've done couldn't be faulted from the three games we've had.
"The Premier League is harsh and the reality is just around the corner. We have Southampton just around the corner in the FA Cup, which will be a very, very tough game.
"We showed a lot of qualities today which we're going to need if we're going to stay in the division."
