Leyton Orient maintained their unbeaten league record as goals from Moses Odubajo and Kevin Lisbie secured a 2-1 win over MK Dons.

The visitors went ahead with their first effort of the opening period, but the quality of Patrick Bamford's strike was worth waiting for. Collecting a pass from Luke Chadwick, on-loan striker Bamford, in his third spell with the Dons from Chelsea, steered a 20-yard effort with impressive precision into the bottom left-hand corner. It took Orient took just 11 minutes to level the scores. David Mooney won the ball inside the penalty area and turned the ball back for Kevin Lisbie to feed Odubajo, who sent a curling left-footed effort low into the corner from 15 yards. Mooney and Lisbie then teamed up again for Lisbie to put the O's in front in the 66th minute when Lisbie turned from provider to goal-poacher. Strike partner Mooney threaded the ball through for Lisbie to toe-poke the ball right-footed past advancing Dons goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin in front of the highest league attendance at Brisbane Road. Substitute Izale McLeod rattled the crossbar for the visitors with 13 minutes to go, but the home side held on in front of a crowd of 6,359 to extend their best-ever start to a league season that now stands at nine wins and two draws.
