Hamilton manager Alex Neil insists he will not adopt a defensive approach when he takes his in-form side to Celtic on Sunday.

Accies travel to Celtic Park on the back of a nine-match unbeaten run which hit new heights last weekend with a 4-0 Lanarkshire derby win over Motherwell, taking them up to second place in the Premiership table.

Neil counted 23 shots at goal from his players at Fir Park and is not about to stifle their natural instincts to play attacking, creative football when they face the champions.

The player-boss said: "I don't think we have parked the bus in any game so far and I don't think we can do that with the way we play.

"I don't think it's our strength, I think if we go and do that, we are doing ourselves an injustice.

"We are going to try and impose our game on them. We know it's a difficult place to go but we are looking forward to the challenge.

"We hope their Europa League game will affect them on Sunday and, even if they change their team a wee bit, hopefully we can catch them cold."
