Neill Collins scored a late winner as Sheffield United beat Turkish champions Fenerbahce 2-1 at Bramall Lane on Thursday.
In a pre-season match to mark the Blades' 125th anniversary, the visitors from Istanbul took the lead in the 11th minute as left winger Caner Erkin's cross was headed home by Cameroon striker Pierre Webo.
However, the Blades had several chances to equalise before Chris Porter levelled the contest with a quarter of an hour remaining. Midfielder Louis Reed, who celebrated his 17th birthday a week ago, sent a lofted delivery into the box for Porter to nod in.
Then in the 90th minute, a Ben Davies corner was met by centre-back Collins with a close-range header to seal victory for the hosts.
United travel to Bootham Crescent to face York City in their final pre-season friendly on Saturday before kicking off the new League One season at home to Bristol City on August 9 (kick-off 12.15pm) in a live Sky Sports FL72 encounter.
