Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart admits he is uncertain over his future at the club as he waits to be offered a new deal.

The City shot-stopper has two years left to run on his current deal and after an impressive performance against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night wants his future sorted sooner rather than later.

City stars such as David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Sergio Aguero have all put pen to paper on new deals at the Etihad in recent weeks, but Hart remains unsure over his future after being left in the dark by the Premier League champions.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Hart revealed: "Anything about a new contract is news to me. I’ve heard nothing. I’ve got a year, nearly two years, left on my deal. That is all I am aware of."

City boss Manuel Pellegrini brought in Willy Caballero from Malaga for £6million during the summer and Hart, after being dropped last season by the Chilean, admitted: "I can’t moan about it and I can’t be too happy about it. It is the situation and if I want to stay at this club it’s going to be the reality forever.

"I appreciate it more than anyone that we now have at least two quality players for every single position and the goalkeeping department is no different. I’m sure he’ll get chances to play games, just as I will, and we’ve got to get on with it."

Pellegrini attempted to ease fears over the England goalkeeper's future claiming: "I am sure something will be sorted out with Joe."
