Ludogorets goalkeeper Milan Borjan has told Sky Sports that his sights are set on winning a move to England in the New Year.

Borjan made his Ludogorets debut in the midweek Champions League clash against Liverpool just four days after joining the club on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old impressed in his first game for Ludogorets after being thrust into the action due to a goalkeeping crisis at the Bulgarian club with Vladislav Stoyanov suspended and Ivan Cvorovic injured.

The Canadian international only signed a short-term deal until the end of December and Ludogorets are already keen to extend his contract.

News of Borjan's possible availability on a free transfer at the end of December has alerted a number of English clubs and the shot-stopper admits it is his dream to play in England.

"It has been a bit of whirlwind since joining Ludogorets and then making my debut against Liverpool in the Champions League," Borjan told Sky Sports.

"I enjoyed the experience of playing against Liverpool at such an iconic venue like Anfield despite the result and it has whetted my appetite to play in England.

"It has been a dream of mine to play in England and if the right offer comes along it is something I would seriously consider."

Borjan’s agent, Matt Lewton, of 442 football management confirmed he was talking to a number of clubs about a possible move for the goalkeeper in January.
