Mario Mandzukic's agent claims that the Croatian is set leave Wolfsburg for Bayern Munich.

Agreement said to have been reached over deal that will see striker move to the Allianz Arena

Mario Mandzukic's agent claims that the Croatian is set leave Wolfsburg for Bayern Munich. The 26-year-old striker, who scored three goals at Euro 2012, had previously been linked with Everton and Juventus. Mandzukic has two years left on the contract he signed when he joined Wolfsburg from Dinamo Zagreb in 2010. Bayern are believed to be in the market for a striker to complement the prolific Mario Gomez, but reports had suggested they had cooled their interest in Manchester City's Edin Dzeko, formerly a team mate of Mandzukic's at Wolfsburg. However the Croatian's agent, Ivan Cvjetkovic, says that the Champions League finalists have made their move for Mandzukic. "I was contacted by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge who confirmed that Bayern and Wolfsburg have agreed on Manduzkic's transfer. "Since it was the Bayern chairman who called me I consider the transfer settled. "That is great news for him, it is the best possible step in his career."
