Wycombe v Scunthorpe preview

Image: Marvin McCoy: Suspended for the clash

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Wycombe Wanderers and Scunthorpe United at Adams Park.

Wycombe will be without two full-backs when they host Scunthorpe. Marvin McCoy picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign in their 1-0 home defeat to Preston last weekend and he will join Charles Dunne on the sidelines. Blackpool loanee Dunne suffered a broken tibia just 14 minutes into that match and now looks set to spend three to four months on the sidelines. Sam Wood replaced him in the Adams Park clash and he could get the nod from the start. Wycombe head into this clash with no wins from their last seven league games and only one in their last 11 in all competitions. Scunthorpe will be without experienced duo Matt Sparrow and Andy Dawson again at Wycombe. Midfielder Sparrow has made only one appearance since the end of October due to a recurring hamstring problem, while defender Dawson sustained a hip injury in the recent win at Rochdale and missed last week's win against Torquay. Eddie Nolan returned from a hamstring injury to make his first start since September last Saturday, but caretaker-boss Russ Wilcox has the option of recent loan signing Marcus Williams, hoping to make his first appearance since arriving from Sheffield United. The Iron have won all three of their games under Wilcox, who has no new selection problems, and are chasing a fourth straight league win.
