Wycombe v Accrington preview

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Wycombe Wanderers and Accrington Stanley at Adams Park.

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has to decide whether to throw his returning strikers into the starting line-up to face Accrington this weekend. Top scorer Dean Morgan is back in training having been sidelined with a hamstring injury since Boxing Day, while Jon-Paul Pittman is also back in full training after 10 weeks out with a knee injury. Steven Craig, meanwhile, returns from a three-match suspension to leave Ainsworth with plenty of options as he looks to get his side firing again. Only goal difference keeps Ainsworth's Chairboys out of the League Two relegation zone having won just one of their last 16 league matches. James Beattie has no new concerns among his Accrington ranks ahead of the trip to Wycombe. Stanley have been disrupted by abandonments and postponements of late and with last Saturday's clash against Morecambe called off during the second half, any minor knocks have had a little longer to heal. Goalkeeper Andrew Dawber is back in training following a thigh problem but given Beattie prefers to go without a substitute stopper on the bench, Marcus Bettinelli is unlikely to be provided with any back-up once more. Beattie has named an unchanged starting XI in three successive matches and the only injury problem in Accrington's squad is youngster Marcus Carver, who will next week undergo surgery in a bid to cure a shin problem.
