Team news ahead of St Mirren's SPL opener against Inverness at St Mirren Park on Saturday.
St Mirren manager Danny Lennon will be without four key players. Jim Goodwin, Steven Thompson and Marc McAusland are all suspended for the visit of the Highland side. Graham Carey also misses the first SPL game of the season with a calf knock. All seven of Terry Butcher's summer signings are available for selection ahead of Inverness' opening SPL fixture. The only players unavailable to Butcher are long-term injury absentee Chris Hogg (knee) and experienced midfielder Richie Foran, who is suspended. Despite losing a raft of players at the end of last season Butcher has brought in the likes of defender Simon King and former Liverpool youngster David Raven.
