Kgosi Ntlhe moved Peterborough a step closer to theplay-offs with the only goal in a 1-0 success over Coventry.

Ntlhe struck after seven minutes with a bullet header from Danny Swanson's corner to earn Posh a second home success in the space of five days. Peterborough were unfortunate not to gain further reward for an electric start, but lost momentum after the withdrawal of Swanson due to injury and rarely threatened in the final hour of the contest. Cyrus Christie squandered a golden chance to haul Coventry level when heading wide from a free-kick late in the first half. Christie then turned provider to release loan striker Nathan Eccleston 10 minutes after the restart, but the forward failed to open his Sky Blues account by slicing wide from 12 yards. A fine Jack Baldwin challenge denied Eccleston a tap-in following David Prutton's cut-back soon after. Coventry's leading scorer Callum Wilson almost took advantage of a mix-up between Posh defender Ben Nugent and goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik, only for Nugent to recover in time to clear.
