Notts County v Tranmere preview

Image: Judge: Could be in the squad

Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Notts County and Tranmere at Meadow Lane.

Notts County will wait to see if Alan Judge is fit enough to be considered for the squad. The midfielder is nearing a full recovery from the hamstring injury that has ruled him out so far this season. He remains a doubt but could be included on the bench if given the green light. Manager Martin Allen has options should he wish to make changes. Cristian Montano is pushing for a start after the West Ham teenager came off the bench to score against Charlton on Saturday. Veteran striker Lee Hughes could also come back into the team, while midfielders Ishmel Demontagnac and John Spicer will be hoping to make their first starts of the season. Defender Stephen Hunt (ankle) and forward Ben Burgess (hamstring) remain sidelined. Tranmere manager Les Parry will be reluctant to make any changes as his side search for a third straight win. Rovers claimed a 1-0 win at Leyton Orient on Saturday following a second-half goal from debutant David Buchanan. The capital success followed an opening-day home win over Chesterfield by the same scoreline and Parry has a full-strength squad to choose from. Buchanan came into the side in place of Zoumana Bakayogo on Saturday while Parry also made a change at right-back by replacing Michael Kay with David Raven. The Rovers boss said: "There are going to be some changes made early on in the season because we have brought in five players and I'm still messing around with what I think our best team is."
