Sylvester Stallone has banked on Everton fans to provide him with a knock-out scene for his latest film.
The Hollywood star delivered a TV message on the big screens at half-time of Monday's Sky Live game against West Brom, stirring up the crowd as filming took place for his latest outing in the famous Rocky boxing franchise.
Producers then filmed the crowd cheering and booing for crowd scenes for spin-off picture 'Creed' in which he trains the grandson of Apollo Creed - the fighter who featured in the first two Rocky films.
Stallone, wearing an Everton shirt, introduced the film - which also features Tony Bellew, a lifelong Everton fan, in a supporting role.
This was not the first time the actor has 'appeared' at Goodison Park; eight years ago he watched a 1-1 draw with Reading and was presented to the supporters before kick-off.
Sporting crowds have been used by filmakers before, including Oscar-winning director Peter Jackson. He used cricket and rugby union crowds in New Zealand to record the war chants of orcs in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
