Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hailed the quality of Alexis Sanchez after he scored twice in the 3-0 Premier League win over Burnley.
The Chilean forward, who joined the Gunners in the summer from Barcelona, took his tally to 10 goals for the season with his brace against the Clarets.
He scored the all-important first goal of the game in the 71st minute, rising in the box to head in Calum Chambers' cross, before slotting home from close range in added time.
Between Sanchez's goals, Chambers scored the Gunners' second in what was ultimately a comfortable win for the north London side.
"It was a top performance," said Wenger of his 25-year-old forward. "He scored a very good goal to make it 1-0.
"He is quality and he takes responsibility and goes at people and fights. He can give a final ball and score and that is what we want from great players. He is a winner."
Burnley had frustrated Arsenal for 70 minutes until Sanchez's first goal and Wenger praised his side for not allowing frustration to effect their performance.
"It was a question of patience, quality and concentration and I think we had all of that," said the Frenchman. "We had plenty of shots on goal and crosses today.
"It was important not to concede a goal and go behind and we did that very well.
"In the end it was a comfortable win and deserved one."
Wenger was also happy to give a late run-out to Theo Walcott, who came on with 10 minutes remaining to make his first appearance since January following a knee injury.
"Coming on gives him the confidence to play again and I think he will soon get back to his best level," added Wenger.
Chambers' goal - a follow-up finish after a corner - was his first at first-team level.
He told Sky Sports: "It is a really proud moment for me, that is all I can say.
"It was a tough game. We just had to keep working and take our chances and eventually we did that. In the end it was a good result."
