Radamel Falcao expects his future to be resolved soon and hinted a potential loan move to Chelsea could be on the cards.

Sky sources reported earlier this week that Chelsea had agreed a season-long deal with Monaco for Falcao, who spent last season on loan with Manchester Untied.

United opted not to make Falcao move permanent after he scored just four times in 29 appearances, but Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign the 29-year-old to bolster his attacking options following the departure of Didier Drogba.

Falcao, who impressed with both Porto and Atletico Madrid before moving to France, was asked about the reports when he spoke to reporters following Colombia's victory over Brazil at the Copa America in Chile.

"I am just thinking of the Copa America and the squad, my staff are taking care of this." Falcao said.

Asked if the reports linking him with a loan move to Chelsea were correct, Falcao added: "It can be, you will know soon."

Uruguay defender Diego Godin and Spanish midfielder Koke at Atletico Madrid are also reported targets for Chelsea, along with Real Madrid's French international centre-half Raphael Varane and Belgian international Toby Alderweireld, who was on loan at Southampton last season.

And with goalkeeper Petr Cech nearing a reported £11m switch across London to Arsenal both Asmir Begovic of Stoke and Norwich stopper John Ruddy have been linked with the English champions.
