Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored twice to give
Schalke a 2-1 victory at
Hamburg - the success marking Huub Stevens' first Bundesliga game back in charge with all three points.
Huntelaar, who scored eight goals last season, struck in the 13th and 73rd minutes to push his total this season to seven already.
Mladen Petric had equalised the game for Hamburg after 37 minutes.
Schalke's second straight victory comes five days after Stevens returned to the club and moves them into fourth place on 15 points - this win coming on the back of a midweek success in the Europa League while Hamburg returned to losing ways after winning their first game of the season last week and remain on four points in last place.

Werder Bremen failed in their bid to join Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga as they were beaten 3-2 by
Hannover in an entertaining northern derby.
Mohammed Abdellaoue scored a hat-trick for the Reds with Marko Arnautovic netting and receiving a red card for Bremen.
Claudio Pizarro gave Bremen hope of getting an equaliser when he made it 3-2 in the 83rd minute, but Thomas Schaaf's men could not find an equaliser with just 10 men.
The win lifted Mirko Slomka's side up to fourth in the table - the position they occupied at the end of last season.
Bremen remained second, but now trail Bayern by three points.
