Partick boss Alan Archibald admitted that Partick Thistle’s 3-3 draw at Hamilton felt more like a defeat after being denied victory by Tony Andreu's last-gasp equaliser.
The visitors to New Douglas Park had overcome a two-goal deficit to take a 3-2 lead going into the final 18 minutes only for Andreu to give Accies a point.
A disappointed Archibald said: "I always believe we can come back into games.
"Don't get me wrong, we lost 6-0 at Parkhead the other night so you are worried about the lads' confidence.
“But the lads showed great character to come back. We thought at half-time, after having a wee chat with them, that we could have a go and we certainly did that. I thought we dominated the second half.
"It's a hard one to take in the end, especially after leading at that time.
"It doesn't feel like a positive at the moment, not when you're leading a game like that.
"The positive is that we got a response after a terrible game the other night and came back from two goals down to be leading the match."
His opposite number at Hamilton, Alex Neil, added: "It was important not to concede another defeat. It was good for our confidence. Thankfully Tony got that wonder goal to get us a point.
"But I didn't think it was a great game in terms of quality. There wasn't a great deal of football played. It was just a straight match-up in the middle.
"I think we showed two real flashes of quality and scored two really good goals. Then the game changed with our poor defending."
