On-loan striker to sign permanent deal in the New Year
Torquay United have agreed a fee with Wycombe Wanderers to sign on-loan striker Chris Zebroski on a permanent basis.
Zebroski has scored four goals in five appearances for the Gulls since joining in November and is now due to sign a long-term deal at Plainmoor.
The Gulls will pay a reported fee of £25,000 to Wycombe and the club's chief executive Colin Lee confirmed it is now a case of finalising the paperwork.
"There is no further negotiation needed," Lee told the Herald Express. "The deal for Chris is agreed.
"It's just a case of crossing the t's and dotting the i's.
"Chris believes in us, and we believe in him.
"It's a happy relationship which will hopefully pay dividends for both of us."
Zebroski is currently enjoying his second loan spell at Plainmoor after impressing during the 2007/08 season.
