Motherwell have strengthened their goalkeeping options with the signing of Kyle Letheren.
The former Wales U21 international has penned a short-term emergency contract with the SPL outfit.
The 22-year-old was available as a free agent having parted company with Plymouth Argyle in January.
Letheren will go straight into Craig Brown's squad for Tuesday's game at Celtic, providing cover for the injured John Ruddy.
"Kyle has been with us before, on trial, a few months ago and really impressed Stewart Kerr," Brown told the club's
official website.
Knock
"However, at that time, we still had Sebastian Kosiorowski and obviously couldn't afford to take on another goalkeeper.
"He'll be with us probably to the end of the current season while John recovers from his knock, which should be in time for the last few games.
"He'll now be in the squad for the game at Celtic Park on Tuesday night."
Letheren started his career with Swansea before moving to Barnsley, where he made just one appearance.
After a loan period with Doncaster, he moved to Plymouth after being snapped up by Paul Sturrock.
