Bolton striker ready to make his mark

Bolton striker David N'Gog admits he is yet to find his best form with the Trotters but he is ready to make that change. The Frenchman joined the Trotters in a £4million deal from Liverpool in the summer. However, the 22-year-old has scored just once in 12 games since his arrival and he is determined to start finding the back of the net. "It has been frustrating because, of course, I want to help the team to win," he told the Bolton News. "I'm sure before I haven't been 100 per cent fit but I've worked with the staff here and now it's a lot better. "It also always takes time to settle down with a new team and new team-mates, but I feel good here and I'm optimistic for the future. "As a team we all have to take responsibility and it may be that we are looking for someone to lead that. But it's one thing to talk, but it's another to do it on the pitch. "We all have to take the responsibility to go forward. It's not going to be easy and it might be a cliche, but we have to work hard."
