O'Driscoll admits midfielder may need groin operation

Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll concedes Martin Woods may need an operation to fix his ongoing groin problem. Woods, who has scored five goals in 20 appearances this season, has been struggling with the injury in recent weeks. The midfielder was forced to come off at half-time during Tuesday's win over Sheffield Wednesday and O'Driscoll is weighing up the best course of action. O'Driscoll said: "Martin's groin tightened up again and was sore. "The same happened against Palace at Selhurst Park last week and he just felt he couldn't continue after half-time. "We'll have to continue looking at that. He's had a couple of injections to try and solve it, but we may need to look at it further."
